Absa Sneakily Adding Insurance to Vehicle Finance without Customer Knowledge

Atleast twice a year I have to battle with Absa for instituting insurance against an already insured vehicle. This practice is nothing short of ********.

The M.O is that they sneak an insurance amount into your finance agreement claiming you have failed to provide them with proof of cover for your vehicle. They also claim to have attempted to reach out to you to provide them with such which is a lie.

All the while, them and their cronies will reap further interest on your financed amount with the addition of this bogus insurance amount. At best, you're lucky to get a refund on the accrued insurance amount, they wont even mention refunding the interest you've paid over to them as result of their shady behavior.
