ABSA siphons money from savings account to pay for credit card.

I have had accounts with ABSA for many years. One just sees at the end of the day that they quick to take your money and lure you into business and to take risks on you but when you see a client struggling you just a number. Money was taken directly out of my savings account as a journal debit to pay for my credit card account. I had not authorised or made any payment arrangements with them and to "get my attention" this is what they do. Not just a small amount but everything that was in my account! It is ********* and wrong at the end of the day. They mention that when I got the credit card, it is stipulated, that they can legally take money out of any of my accounts with them to pay for another that may be outstanding. Is this correct? Did I not read this fine print? I refuse to believe this and demand that money be returned within my account. Has anyone else experienced this and how can it be handled? I was promised a call from collections but noone bothered to call. My action would be to close my savings account with them and never to do business with them ever again.
