ABSA sent my vehicle logbook to a purchaser without my consent!

<p>I recently sold my vehicle privately and the agreement was that the oustanding settlement balance owing be paid to Absa vehicle finance, followed by a seperate agreed cash amount to me. I did inform the purchaser that the logbook would be personally delivered to him by myself.</p> <p>After approximately a week after the settlement due to Absa was concluded and documents were pending receival to me after numerous calls to Absa vehicle finance, They eventually informed me that the document was dispatched to the purchaser WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!!</p> <p>I cant imagine how this could be legally possible?!</p> <p>The sad part to this is that the agreed cash amount has not yet been paid to me in full and the purchaser refuses to acknowledge any plea or request to pay whats due to me.</p> <p>I have lodged a legal claim to the purchaser but I personally believe Absa is to be held responsible</p> <p>for resolving this dispute and not following the correct channel of customer compliance.</p> <p>I would suspect a ********** request made by the purchaser to aquire ownership to the vehicle and thereafter dissappear; or either a complete admin mess up by Absa.</p> <p>Absa should investigate this issue and resolve it under their own capacity!</p> <p>Its due to these blunders and poor service delivery that has made me as a customer move to an alternate bank!</p> <p> </p>
