Absa scratch and dent cover -refuses to pay out

2 weeks back I lodged a claim for a dent in my car , I was referred to a panel beater t o get a quotation which I did- a week later I called claims to follow up as no one got back to me .I spoke to Raymond, who told me they won’t pay out because the quotation is R 6000 and I am only covered for R 2000 , therefore they won’t pay me out-I asked the Raymond why cant they pay me out what I am covered for which is R 2000 and I will pay the difference or will get a cheaper quote elsewhere , he told me they don’t pay out customers in cash , I should claim with my car insurance . I have been paying the cover for 3 years and they won’t pay me out- why do I have scratch and dents cover I am currently sitting with a dent in my car but I am paying insurance which is refusing to pay me out , I feel ****med and ****** by ABSA scratch and dents
