ABSA /Road Covers ****

Hi ABSA

I am writting to you because I saw a similar compaint n Hellopeter.

I was contacted today by Jason De Jager, who introduced himself as a ABSA consultant. He sold me a road cover membership for R39.

He had all my details i.e address, ID number and an account number.

I treid calling them unsuccesfully on ***.

It appears that this person is not really an ABSA consultant but could be from an entinty called Road Cover.

My issues is- how come they had my personal details and why are they claiming to be working for ABSA?

Does this mean that ABSA shared my private inforrmation with a third party?

Why are they impersonating to be calling from ABSA when conducting their dealings?

In addition, I have since sent them an email to cancel this membership, thus I request that any debit order from this Road Cover be DECLINED.
