Absa rewards - vague and foxy

For the first time in ???? years I now suddenly get an Absa rewards statement- wow!!- indeed a step forward So now I can actually see what rewards I am getting for which products. In 2018 I see I was getting +_5% for filling up at Sasol However in 2019 I see I am getting round 1%??? - yet the Website says "Earn as much as 15% cash Rewards with Sasol"!!! Apparently the rewards work off an evidently complicated "tier" system as advertised on the web - if you spend more than R780 at Sasol it says you should earn 4.5% cash rewards - yet I m getting 1% rewards and spending well in excess of R780 Go figure - they will probably have some convoluted answer just as convoluted, vague and undecipherable to anyone without masters degree in banking - as are their banking policies and packages generally - but for us on the street with average education qualifications you will not make head or tail of it Absa banking - Designed to fox the public and lure you into a den of highly non comprehendible and questionable banking - it surely cant be worse elsewhere?
