ABSA Rewards Useless app

Absa Rewards is useless since the upgrade in December 18. My rewards is standing still in spite of the fact that I have put in R 3104 worth of Petrol at SASOL between 27 Dec 2018 and 16 January 2019! No Pick and Pay or Woolworths rewards rewarded either. One also cannot convert the rewards as you get an error message of " Connection error" although you do not have any other connection problems. The Absa app reviews are full of complaints re the new app, yet, nobody seems to be doing anything about this. I have written an e-mail to Absa who refers you to Absa rewards. I phoned Absa rewards - the lady has no idea what I am trying to tell her. I went to the bank, reinstalled the app etc - same problems!! What else should one do? Change banks after 50 years??
