Absa Rewards not working

I joined Absa earlier this month and opened a cheque account. I received multiple sms's that ive been pre-registered for absa awards and only needed to activate my account for it to take effect. So after my account was activated we went to Nu Metro this past weekend only for them to tell me the cant pick up my ID number for the Absa rewards discount on the movie tickets. This is very disappointing. Can someone please fix this as the rewards programme is the biggest reason i actually joined Absa?
