ABSA rewards are frustrating. Seems to only work half the time.
My ABSA rewards Nando’s voucher did not work… AGAIN!!! What is the point of doing the challenges only to get R50 vouchers that do not work in store. I was told that my ABSA rewards voucher that I received on 13 December 2022 was invalid when I tried using it on 14 December at Nandos. The cashier told me to try again later. I tried again on 16 December and it didn’t work, once again. This is not the first time I have an issue with the ABSA rewards vouchers not working. Why offer a service/reward that only works half the time. This is really frustrating.

22 Dec 2022, 18:43Literally a day after the Absa consultant, Russell, phoned me to find out about my voucher that did not work, I accepted another Absa rewards challenge and got a voucher. Once again, to my dismay, the voucher that expires on 5 January 2023 doesn’t work when entering the Nandos code online.
This is truly the most pathetic service I have come across. After all the complaints, you would think Absa would get it right. I don’t know how many times I have wasted my time with the same issue. Perhaps it is time to move to a bank that will treat me as a valued client instead of staying with one that feels it ok to waste my time with these silly Absa rewards and challenges.
