ABSA Rewards 10% with Bidvest - Fleecing Customers

I wrote a simalar review at the end of 2018 of how ABSA rewards are disingenous. ABSA is offering its customers 10% off (cash rewards) with Bidvest Car Rental when booked via the ABSA rewards site. For a two day car hire in Durban for a particualar class of vehicle and standard waiver, the rental cost before the 10% cash rewards is R588. I booked directly via the Bidvest website and the rental cost is R407. Note the price difference! Also the ABSA 10% Cash rewards only applies to time and kilometer costs, so in effect the reward on rental is roughly 6%-7% (R588 less 6% = R553) - more than R140 over the 'off the street' rental - WOW!. Customers, more especially your Rewards Customers are being fleeced once again. As was the case in 2018, ABSA promised to investigate, however with these sorts of hidden incomes there would be no incentive to do so! I am an ABSA Private Banking Client and am considering moving to another bank based solely on ABSA's poor business ethics. Disappointed once again with ABSA, as with many of their business practices.
