Absa repudiated my retrenchment claim

Absa repudiated my retrenchment claim reason being that my employment was not permanent but on contract. I have since sent them my employment contract together with all my retrenchment documents and salary slips. they are still demanding payment from me. I am however still unemployed to date and still forced to pay this credit life insurance which is not covering my claim. please assist urgently.
