ABSA Refuses to cancel my home Insurance

ABSA Refuses to cancel my insurance. They demand 2 witnesses, with IDs and Full addresses to cancel. They never asked for all this nonsense when I joined. Now I must bother people with their personal data to cancel insurance on this days of identity theft. I am not asking for loan. I joined online with no witnesses. What are these people witnessing?
