Absa Recovery department can't transfer my money because Lamese Frankson is off sick

I previously had a cheque account with Absa that went into arrears since I was not working, unfortunately SARS deposited my tax refund into that account which was now sitting in Recovery. I went to Absa on the 30th of November and Thuli Madondo assisted me, she spoke to Lamese Frankson about transferring the balance of the money into an Absa savings account as I was advised to open a savings account as it would take 3 days for the money to be transferred into that account than the 10 days I would have to wait should the money be transferred into my current bank. I was told to email the refund letter from SARS so as to prove that the money was not **********ly acquired. I e-mailed Lamese the same day. I then got a call on the Saturday advising me that I needed to pay the cheque account arrears or I would not receive my money, I went into the Maponya mall branch on the Sunday and spoke to Masechaba Mkhize who explained that collections hadn't gotten an update that the money was already recovered from my SARS refund. She asked me to email her the letter and she would follow up on the transfer for me, I emailed it Monday morning and asked her to acknowledge my email and got no response. I went back to the Gandhi square branch and gave Thuli Mandondo a hard copy to email to the Recovery department to Lamese. She e-mailed it. On Wednesday I went back to the branch to check , Odete Carneiro the branch manager for Gandhi Square helped me, she was told that Lamese was off sick and that no one had followed up on my transfer. I then gave Odete the hard copy to email again, she e-mailed it and cc'd me on the email. Still the transfer hasn't come through. Yesterday 7th of November I went back to the Gandhi square branch and was told that it still hasn't been done as Lamese was still off sick. I have phoned the action line, complained on social media and still no one has come back to help me. I need to use this cash, I had very important plans this weekend , my car was suppose to be fixed and now it is close to breaking down all because I cannot access MY money because of an *********** department, how is it that I'm suffering because someone is off sick??? Is there no contingency plan when someone is sick in that department, I am very unhappy. Today I went back to the Gandhi branch and Odete couldn't get a hold of someone, if I didn't need that money I would have just closed my account with Absa and just waited for the transfer to my current bank at least they know and understand customer service.
