Absa R10 000 refund
At the beginning of March I app**** for vehicle finance via email and spoke to a guy named Sipho Maboela. After being approved for finance I told him that I would like to purchase a car via Aucor in Cape Town. He said I can go ahead with the auction and send him an invoice once I win the bid. After paying R10 000 registration with Aucor and subsequebtly winning the bid Sipho advised me that ABSA does not finance auction cars and I forfeited my R10 000 with Aucor. I feel that its very unfair as the consultant should have advised me from the get go that Auction cars are an exclusion and the bank should refund me my R10k as the negligence was from their side.
