ABSA, PROBABLY THE MOST PATHETIC BANK IN SA

So I have recently just exited my debt review, ABSA was the first account I settled yet they are the LAST to give me my paid up settlement letter. On top of all this, they sent me a settlement amount and then sent me another settlement directly after, I only saw the latest closing balance so now that I’ve paid the second settlement, ABSA now owes me money.

How does one manage to make errors like this?

How long must I wait for this POOR service?

********** 153084. i paid you guys first why are you the last to respond? standard bank beat you to it, so it cant be a "banking thing" to take this long, on top of this i got two settlement amounts and paid the more expensive one nowi must be refunded before i receive my paid up letter. what level of business acts with like this?

I paid on the 19th of September, it has almost been a MONTH, what level of service is this????? Where’s my money?????????

So ABSA does not respond nor take accountability for taking someone’s money and just not giving it back? That’s called theft!

My 21 days til my record is cleared will only begin once I’ve got that paid up letter from ABSA, who have taken ridiculously long to respond!
