ABSA - Private Banking ... does not help you prosper!
<p>I have been a loyal ABSA customer for more than 10 years but that counts for nothing. I have hit financial difficulties and instead of shying away and ignoring them I contacted ABSA for help. Needless to say all they interested in is making customers suffer and pay high rates for nothing. I tried to increase my homeloan to cover some debt but of course ABSA doesnt offer that... basically not intersted and keep on referring me to credit afforadbility even though I have shown calculations that I can pay the loan amount. Secondly I will never own my home because of the way my Exceller is linked to my private one account. I want to close my cheque account (Exceller) but I have been told in no uncertain terms I CANNOT close my account! How ridiculous. They are holding me at ransom. I have never said I will not pay what I owe but that means nothing.</p>
