ABSA Private banker

I am supposingly an ABSA private banker. I know you think wow, that is quite elite banking which most will strive for. Let me tell you it is just the name, but it remains nothing else than mediocre banking experience for customers in South Africa. Perhaps other financial institutions deliver a more advance private banking experience, but not ABSA.

I am without any bank card for the past 3 weeks since my wallet got lost. I app**** for a new credit card 3 weeks ago. The courier company had 2 failed attempts in delivering my card and finally I asked that they must just deliver it to my private branch. Well as useless as they are, they still did not deliver it to my private branch, but to a branch in the mall.

Apparantly your private branch can't even supply you with a card, how not elite is that.

Finally, after 3 weeks of no banking card, I am standing in a long end of the month que in a non-private banking branch.

My advise: save on banking cost and don't bank with ABSA private. There is basically no benefit at all.
