ABSA ********* practice (in my opinion)

ABSA activate was running a promotion where they guarantee a R1000 back should they not beat the current premium. I'm a bit embarrassed to be associated with ABSA because I think they're *********. I'm in the sales and service industry and would never request pricing of a competitor just so I can undercut the price to gain the business. This is what ABSA did. Their initial quote was above my current premium with another FSP. I informed the consultant and she requested my details (I assumed so that I could prove what my premium was). She then disappeared for a few days after I sent her emails to ask where my R1000 was. She then sends me another quote which undercuts my current premium. I do not do business like this. I'm sorry. It may seem fair practice to ABSA but Im not for it. I have all my banking, home loans and car loans with them, but I will need to review these to be honest. Poor from ABSA. Keep your R100 saving, it's not how I'd want to gain business. Very disappointed customer
