ABSA POOR service Deceased ESTATE
At this point i have lost all hope in ABSA I opened a Deceased estate account that was created on the 14th June 2022, all the documents that were required from the bank were submitted and I was told that I have to wait for 4 to 8 weeks, and on the following day I received a call from ABSA stating that for the monies to be transferred to the Late estate account we need to deposit R500.00 to activate the account.
on the 08 September I called ABSA to follow up on the progress and I was told that the Letter of Executor is missing, my question is how and why I was not informed that ABSA lost the letter of executor that I am confident that I brought when I came to open the Late Estate Bank account. this morning I was told that I need to submit the copy of the Letter of Executor, go to the Police station get it satisfied and email it, why was I not informed that there is a document that ABSA lost in the process of finalizing my request. I then made a copy of the Letter of Executer and Certified it on the 09 September 2022, emailed it back to ABSA, called for follow up it they received the Documents was told they were being sent to the relevant department I must call after 3 days to follow up, today on the 15th September called ABSA to check the progress, the consultant that she must put me on hold to forward the documents, Surprisingly the documents still were not submitted. I asked the consultant on how long is it going to take she told me that, I must follow up in the next 3 to 4 weeks, which don't make sense, the service is very poor, I have sent 2 complaint emails that ABSA promised to call me in the next 8 hours, and no one in ABSA called me. ABSA service is very POOR and they need to provide good service to their customers.
