ABSA Platinum Priority Pass Airport Lounge Access

I was issued with one of ABSA's Priority Pass cards in the latter part of last year and was planning to get airport lounge access during my trip to the UK in December 2015. Upon presenting the card at the airport lounge I was informed by the lounge personnel that these cards have all been terminated late November 2015 and that I cannot get lounge access - this much to my embarrassment. I was never notified of this termination decision and deem this to be very unprofessional and indicative of the institution's inherent don't care attitude towards its clientele
