Absa paying themselves

I made an arrangement with Absa to pay my Credit card monthly and I honored the payment but they still went on to Pass a journal on my Cheque account. I called the collections team on Monday and they said they will send instructions to the for my account to be credited and it takes 24 hrs. Today is Thursday and nothing has happened. I have been calling everyday o follow up and I get the same answer. Why must I end up change banks because of your ways.
