ABSA- Opening of Account
I have been dealing with ABSA Piketberg branch Ain an attempt to open a trust account. This process has now been ongoing for 4 and a half months and the account is still not open!
It’s a weekly struggle to contact the bank staff to follow up on the process, with no real answers or anything indication on when the account will finally be open.
Worst experience of my life.

01 Oct 2024, 17:56Case was eventually rectified by ABSA approximately 10 days after posting here. Happy the ordeal is over, but the whole 5 month process did leave a bad taste in the mouth.
