ABSA online bank accounts- dont waste your time opening up a bank account with them.... you will wait 5 weeks or more

<p>Ive tried to open a business account through ABSA bank, its been 5 weeks pending and the account is still not open.</p> <p>i will take my business elsewhere- as they are useless!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>it all started about 6 weeks back when i went into the durbannorth branch to open up a business account, they advised me to rather open up the account online as opening it up in the bank would take anywhere up to 8 working days, where as appling online will take up to 3day..... well its going on 5 weeks now.</p> <p> </p> <p>im at my wits end, as i have triend to phone the online helpline for opening accounts and no one has even bothered assisting. i then contacted the durban north branch on numerous accounts ( 7+ times) they keep saying that they are going to get back to me. To this day im still waiting.... </p>
