Absa not willing to show empathy towards customers
My spouse and I have a bond at ABSA for more than 10 years and recently my spouse contract at National Air Ways Corporation (NAC) came to an end January 2019 which has left him unemployed and I am a housewife as a result we are both unemployed with no income with two children in our home a girl 2 years old and a boy 16 years of age. We are both looking for employment and currently rely on family for food and finances where they can assist. We contacted Absa and informed them of our situation and requested that they allow us to pay R1500.00 on our bond that family members are willing to assist us with until we find employment.our monthly payment is R2500 on our bond but they are requesting us to pay R1921.00 for the next 6 months that we cannot afford. All that we ask is for Absa to assist us as we have been their customers for more then 10 years.
