ABSA not willing to assist.

I've had a credit card with ABSA for years. Last year ABSA handed me over to Anders Incorporated, and i have been dealing with, made arrangements with them to pay off my credit card.

In October, i received an offer to settlement my account ofwhich i had accepted with them. The next thing, my account is handed over to Shekelton Attorneys, and I had told them that I am dealing with Anders Incorporated and had submitted all my proof of payments and a settlement letter received from Anders Incorporated, and I kept updating ABSA with all the communication I have received from attorneys, and I was advised to continue with the one have been dealing with.

The credit card was paid off on the 14th of December 2023, Ive been in contact with Absa since January to please close my account. In April 2024 I had asked the attorneys to send me a letter showing that my account is settled and closed on their side. I had submitted all the documents. But up to date, my account is still handed over according the ABSA, even after i've submitted everything the asked me to. Emails have been sent to ***; ***; ***; ***, since January 2024, and haven't received any response from ABSA. When I contact ABSA, and they always say i should forward the emails to the above email addresses, or they'll escalate the matter, to no response

I need my account to be withdrawn and closed from Absa ASAP. It's been long overdue now before i decided to write on "hello peter" and no one is willing to assist, and it's frustrating.
