ABSA Not Releasing My Missing Salary Payment

Good Day

My employer paid a portion of my salary on Friday the 27th of October 2017 from their FNB account to my ABSA account as an immediate payment, along with two other expense payments. The salary portion amount was for almost R10 000 and has went off the company bank account but the funds have not arrived in my account, but I received the expense payments . I have spent hours with ABSA on the phone and at the Woodbridge Kempton Park branch who have advised me that this has happened before and that FNB needs to release the money from their GL account where it's stuck into my account.

My employer got in contact with FNB four days later to report the issue. FNB has investigated the matter and found that the payment was indeed successful from their side and they have not received any feedback from ABSA.

I am highly upset with ABSA at this point as it seems you guys do not want to release the money rightfully and legally mine. It has now been three weeks and I am getting calls for defaulted payments and could only pay a portion of my rent. At this point I have had it with ABSA as I am having nothing but issues with you guys and my account.

I expect this resolved ASAP. If I do not get a definitive answer as to when I will receive the missing money to my account by Friday morning I am going to take my complaints to social media, the newspaper and to the Ombudsman for banking services as this is totally unacceptable. What you are doing is blatant thievery that is having a serious negative impact on my financial situation.

Please resolve this ASAP.
