ABSA not letting me withdraw my cash

<p>I opened a cheque account at Absa Menlyn on the 20th of June 2016, my salary got paid into my Absa account on the 25th of June 2016. I tried to withdraw cash on the 25th in the morning, I was unable to, the receipt said FICA problems I should go into the branch.</p> <p> </p> <p>I went to Absa Kollonade, the explianed that FICA hasnt cleared my account as yet that is the reason why I cant access my cash, I didnt understand this because according to Solly who assisted me at Menlyn branch all was good with my cheque account. The lady who assisted me at Kollonade branch called the Menlyn branch and left the message for Sooly Mokoena to call back regarding this. I called him and he said I should be able to access my cash in an hour. I went into the Kollonnade to explain wht he told me and there was a lot of confusion.</p> <p> </p> <p>Later on the branch manager Nellie asked me to go to FNB to obtain the proof of residence so we could re-submit, I found unnecessary because they had the proof of residence that isnt olderthan 3 month that I used when I opened the account on the 20th.</p> <p> </p> <p>I left the Kollonade branch without being helped, I called Solly who initially opened my account and he was busy when I called, left an urgent message for him to return my call, he still hasnt called me yet.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am so stranded and I regret opening a banking account with Absa, I need someone to assist me to get my funds urgenty pls.</p> <p> </p>
