ABSA - Not for the working class or business citizen

I just recently made the changed, for the first time, to ABSA. New client vibes, thinking this would be good..man did I get one hell of a rude awakening. Went into the branch got amazing service yes, new client vibes, treat like royalty. Set up a password or my card and my app. Go home download the app enter the app password and I am locked out!!! I can honestly say that I thought banking with ABSA will be better but it is not for the business or working class citizen. I work from 8am to 5 pm job. I took a half day off to go fetch the card. Now I am locked out of my app. Customer service cannot help me and told me that the password isn't active, which the bank doesn't understand. took off again yesterday and I called the branch cause I was five minutes away before they closed. I get there as a client was leaving and tried to go in and the lady at the front told me if I went in that the alarm would go on. I called the consultant who I spoke to on the phone who speaks to me through the glass door like I was a prisoner. She tells me I can't go in to sort out the password and that she UNDERSTANDS but I need to come tomorrow!! She claims to understand that I was five minutes late but not that I have an event the whole of today or that I would have to take leave to accommodate the bull**** business hours to sort out something that is their fault! Honestly the worst service ever. The sadness treatment, such disrespect, horrible experience which means I am switching to another bank to avoid this utter **** show. Who has my money but will not give me access #Highly****ed #Incompetence
