ABSA Not Debiting Account

The Wife app**** for a personal loan and was granted accepted the quote where it states payment is by Debit order, we did not worry about it because the account will be debited. Now they phone and SMS saying we have a payment outstanding. We have no problem paying it but now the wife will get a late payment or non payment or what ever its called against her name at ITC because ABSA cannot debit a account as per the agreement signed. <br> we phoned them and they say no we should have checked that the account is debited. and then asked how this event will affect her credit record and they say it will affect it badly.?<br> <br> I have sent ABSA 6 emails requesting information on why the payment was not debited and how we can pay etc. NOT 1 Reply.<br> <br> how does that happen ABSA does not do what they were suppose to do and now the wife's credit record is affected?<br>
