ABSA not assisting SMME's
We are a SMME and have been banking with ABSA from the start of our business in 2014, we actively started trading in 2018. For financial year 2017/18/19 we showed a turnover in excess of above R3mil. We have ever since 2017 tried to get financial assistance form our Banker, until now few weeks ago. It tells me that the bank is just good to take our money in service fees and cost but does not want to uplift Small Business. All kind of red tape is being thrown in our faces and its really sad that our banker do not want to assist us. We have secured tenders and contracts for the coming 6 Months in excess of approximatley R2.5mil, they still come with their ****ing red tape and capitalist s****s. We are at a stage where we are considering shifting our bussiness account however, shifting a bussiness account to another banker is a daunting task as it means that we'd have to change our details with all our clients and suppliers. It leaves me with the notion that ABSA bank are only for the rich and capitalistic.
