ABSA - no response to quueries
ABSA Vehicle Finance offers the worst Customer Service. Calls are cut off, Emails are unanswered. Nobody is able to answer the queries I have on my account.

14 Oct 2024, 10:57 Good morning My account nr: ***7 1. My original contract states that the term of the contract is 72 months
2. The statement dated 15 July 2024 states that the term of the contract is 79 months
3. My first query is the 7 months added to the contract.
4. On 15 July I had R14 370.41 in advance
5. I asked for a settlement amount n 5 September - the amount I received was R 15 812
6. I called them and asked that I want to capitalize the amount in advance. The consultant said that it cannot be done against the outstanding capital. They can only reduce the term or reduce the monthly payment.
7. The query is - why can't I offset it against the outstanding capital and then just settle the outstanding amount?
Nobody could answer any of my questions.
