Absa new Credit Card is broken

My new Credit Card from Absa is not working. Google Pay on my Android phone used to be working perfectly fine for me for contactless payments at points of sale, but now, even though nothing has changed except I received my new Credit Card because my previous one expired and I'm trying to replace my old one with the new one, it's not working.

When I try to add my new CC as the payment method to Google Pay/Wallet, after confirming my Card issuer Absa's terms and conditions, it says: "Couldn't finish card setup for contactless payments. To resolve this, you'll need to contact your bank."

Well, consider this as me contacting the bank, because I do not have time to wait half an hour on a call with the helpline during the day, I tried phoning them this evening but no agents are available and they cut off my ****ing call.
