ABSA - never ask for help

I app**** for a loan as I am financially struggling at this time. I phoned ABSA as I have been a client of theirs for most of my life. I begged for help just to get me a head of the curb. I literally have no food in my fridge and I have 3 kids 6,3 and a 1 year old. Due to unforeseen circumstances I didn’t have enough money in my account to pay for my kids school fees. I asked ABSA to please help please help me pay off some of my debt so that I can just get an head start. YES there are time that my account bounced but I always made sure that I pay that as I take responsibility for it. I could have left but never since I’ve been with ABSA have I left it. I app**** for the loan on Monday the 03/02/2020 I was asked to send through a copy of my ID and proof of residency. I asked if I can send through a bank statement with my address on it as there is a bank around the corner from my work. They said no but I can send a it through if it was post to me. So I sent through all the details as the asked for it. I get my case number I sent it through on Tuesday the 04/02/2020. I follow up on the same day they say that it can take 2 to 3 days for them to get back to me. I phoned on Thursday the 06/02/2020 they tell me that all my papers are on Tholi’s desk she will contact me before she leaves. At 17:00 I phone them and they tell me that she has already left for the day. I was told to phone early on Friday the 07/02/2020 they will have an answer for me then. I phoned just after 09:00am they tell me that she will phone me at 12:00pm at 13:30 I phoned again she is out on lunch. At 15:30 I phone again and then they tell me that I didn’t send through the correct details. I mean what the **** man!! I am desperate for this money as I need to feed my kids and to pay school fees. I have never begged ABSA for anything but I have always been a loyal client all my stuff is at ABSA my credit card my vehicle finance a few policies. Ja my account bounced but I pay it I make sure it gets paid in the same month. Now I will have to sell my tv my fridge my toaster my microwave and who knows what else just so that I can put food on the table tonight so that my 3 kids don’t go to sleep hungry. What’s your saying Today, tomorrow, together. What a joke. I needed you today you were not there for me. I begged for help and you said no!! I will be taking my business somewhere, where a bank will be there for you when you need them. 17years I’ve been with you and this is what I get when I need you the most. **** you!!!!!
