ABSA need to take each client request serious.

What a frustrating experience. One simple ask and whole lot of disappointments. I need a simple letter to show that my credit card was in good standing. I visited branch(Greenstone Mall) on the 5th of September 2026. I was told i need to send an email to *** which i did same time and was told it will take 24-48hrs. I did not receive any feedback up to Tuesday.

I send same to another bank which i have same service and got my feedback first thing Monday. I phoned ABSA as this is a matter of urgency, the contact center assured me she escalated with her team manager and i should receive feedback within 24hrs.

I never received an feedback 48hrs later. I phoned again on Thursday and was answered by one call center agent called Kwelele. She was nice and promised my query was going to be attended to and she will personally call back before end of day and give feedback. She never did and i have not received any feedback with my request.

I indicated this was matter of urgency but no one seems to be willing to take it upon themself to make sure i get the help need. Its being a week and still no help whats so ever and im frustrated and desperate and have no idea what else to do to get help.

I'm very disappointed with the service i have received and wish noone else to get same experience I'm getting.

Please ABSA you are a big brand and we trust you to do better.

Regards, Christian
