ABSA national deceased estates division is deceased
My father passed away in December 2020. ABSA is the executor of the estate.
My father has all his savings and investments with ABSA. My mother and I have comp**** with everything ABSA deceased estates required of us.
Needless to say, it is now the 16th of February 2021 and the estate is still not settled.
I have sent numerous complaints, requests and the latest (since September 2021) is that ABSA national deceased estates has a backlog of closing the accounts. This backlog is supposedly since before January 2020.
My mother is in need of the money and I am utterly disgusted in the level of service provided by ABSA. How long does a backlog of closing accounts with ABSA take to be resolved?
