ABSA National Deceased Estate - Ignorance

ABSA National Deceased Estates - On 22/02/2022 an instruction was sent to ABSA (including all supporting documents), to closed the accounts of a deceased - H G Diedericks (ABSA Ref. 2021/62898, E/Late: HG DIEDERICKS) and transfer the proceeds to the Estate account. To date I am still waiting for the proceeds to be paid and the certificate of balance to be issued. The ignorance of ABSA is the result that I am unable to proceed with the Estate and the surviving spouse is also kept in the dark as to when the Estate will be finalized. I do not understand the whole process and the reason why the request is not attended to - I know from experience that the process should not take this long.
