ABSA- LUTELY USELESS

This is the story about the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. ABSA INSURANCE. In December before Christmas a violent storm brought down a tree causing damage to my boundary wall and picket fence. They paid for tree felling but despite having photos of tree on boundary wall and picket fence they repudiated claim . I am at a loss for words. Before that they took 8 months to come out to assess wind damage to LAPA. When they did come out they claimed thatch looked in bad condition so they repudiated claim. I mean with half your thatch blown away and more falling off daily during 8 months which LAPA will look good. Worse still they refuse to let you see assessors report. Before that their contractors repairs to electric fence shocked my wife when she touched controls. The list goes on and on. They cannot settle in anything less than a month. They always insist on paying you out a pittance rather than get a contractor to repair. They are truly the worst insurance company I have been forced to deal with. Darryl Earl David
