Absa *****line not safe

On 05.02.2026 I received a phone call from ABSA ***** dept stating that *****ulent activity on my acct. I went into my app and the person gave me my absa card no, expiry date and cvv no. They advised me to accept the transaction in order for them to reverse it, and stop the other transactions. I kept declining it and kept stating *****ulent activity. I then advised I will sort it out with Absa and will go into the bank. They advised me they don't give reference numbers. I transferred all my money out. On 22.02.26 just after 22h00 I get a sms insufficient funds in my absa credit card acct. I open my app can't see an activity however immediately phone the ***** line from my app. I spoke to Mbali and advised her that I received this sms. She 2st told me she can't see anything because their credit card system update between 22h00 and 02h00. I advised her on my app it stated a secondary card was issued and I gave no permission for this. She checked again and advised the system is back up. She looked and advised there was no activity on my acct and the sms was sent in error. Monday 23. 02.2026 I was still uncomfortable regarding my acct so I phone the ***** dept from my app and explained what was going on. I spoke to Thabiso Mphala. He looked at my acct and advised there was an amount of R999 on the Sunday night trying to go through my acct. I was shocked. I told him to stop my card because Mbali didn't stop my card as requested. He asked where would I like my card delivered and I told him. Everything sorted, I wish. 24.02.2026 at 11h18 insufficient funds again. I am like how, the card is blocked but wait I rejected a 010 number at 11h09. I marched myself off to the bank and sat with the bank manager, she phoned the ***** line and started explaining and the call was dropped and she had to phone again. When she spoke to them giving them all the info they checked, nothing on my acct, no notes that I reported *****, my card wasn't blocked. I looked at her and said "you ***** line is hacked because look I am phoning your ***** line and speaking to the *****sters, which means they are picking up the calls from your ***** line".I sat crying in her office because what must we do, when we follow the correct steps to keep us safe. My card is now blocked and new 1 issued so that would be that, nope. Next day I received a call from ABSA credit card division wanting to offer me a gold credit card with a R50 000 limit. I wanted to scream. I knew the number was invalid. I knew I was talking to the *****ster. I marched myself back to the bank manager, she looked at me with shock and said "what must we do to keep these people away from you". The heartbreaking part is that Absa charged me for the insufficient funds and never even offered the money back to me. They are in denial that their *****line is being hacked even with all the evidence I have. What is it going to take for them to wake up and realise that their customers are not safe?
