ABSA life is reaping us off

We had a bond with ABSA bank in 2006 they gave us a policy as Security for the bond, in 2016 we paid off the bond and we decided to continue with the policy to make it a life policy since we have paid it for 10 yrs, We have been asking for the policy document since 2016 to date, they say it is with them for safe keeping, we can keep it safe for ourselves, secondly we were paying R203.08 in 2006, for a cover of R630000, in 2019 we are paying R546.04 for the same R630000 cover!!!they have been increasing the premium all the years without communicating with us at all! Why should the premium increase while the cover remains the same and if premiums increase then you as the owner they must get your consent! I could have reversed the amount but I felt I’ve been paying for that policy for more than ten years please help me to clarify all these because this is robbing people
