ABSA Life cover retrenchment benefit LIES!

I have recently been retrenched from work and when I heard that my ABSA credit card was covered for retrenchment I was relieved. My last day at work was the 30 th of September and on the 17th of October I submitted my claim which I was told when I enquired that ABSA life would cover up to 12 instalment while I look for alternative Employment. They requested that I submit the following documents which I obliged: 3 month payslip and 3 month bank statement(even though this is not in their marketing information) Id copy Retrenchment letter/Confirmation of loss of income letter UIF form (UI19) These were submitted on the 25th I was now shocked to get a call from an Insurance Assessor wanting to check if I can further submit a bank statement for October. She further sent me a letter tagged decline letter requesting October bank statement when my last day at work was the 30th of September. I can see already that they are looking at my severance pay as an alternative which is completely wrong! None of my other colleagues who were retrenched with me were requested this nonsense. DO THINGS RIGHT I HAVE BEEN PAYING THIS RENTREMENCMNET COVER over 15 years not a single claim.
