ABSA life cover changed its policy to only cover covert 19 retrenchment

Feedback from ABSA credit life insurance No:C-***3. My name is Andries Coetzer. I wrote a complaint last week after my credit claim was declined for the wrong reason (Disability) .I received reply from ABSA with the above reference number. I explained my situation again after ABSA had all the relevant documentation. Feedback now is that the ABSA credit life was recently changed only to cover Covert 19 for loss of in come due to retrenchment since March 2020 My retrenchment dates back to 23rd August 2018 . I took the matter for review to CCMA requesting reinstatement. At the time of the hearing 12 months later was I temporary disabled because of 2 back operations caused by serious blood bacterial infection. I had to settle for retrenchment. I was declared fit for work end of March 2020. I was negotiating to take up employment for a company to represent them in Africa. Since covert 19 was the position postponed until travel ban is lifted. I had no intention to apply for credit cover to kick in. I am in a desperate situation not having income for 18 months. I want to place on record that I will be taking the matter to Ombudsman for Banks. ABSA need to supply me with all the relevant information stating the reasons for declining for the 2nd time. I also informed the bank that I will suspend all payment
