ABSA Late Estate department non existent

Such a shame this interface does not allow for ZERO stars.

It has been almost 8 months waiting for my father's late estate to be processed, you would think his estate is a R 1 billion due to this slow process and red tape.

My documents were submitted to Late Estate, heard nothing from them, calling them is also useless, no-one every answers the phone there. Email also an useless option.

Tried to follow-up via my local branch, this is also a dead-end.

So what now? ABSA just hangs on to money that is not even theirs forever?

It is probably time to move all business and accounts away form this bank as it is not the only department of theirs that is frustrating, this is worse than dealing with government departments!
