Absa is useless

Once again Absa failed to deliver basic service.<br> <br> I used my Absa debit card to purchased goods worth R 2500. It was, however declined with a code 61 (which basically means withdrawal limit exceeded). I of course looked like a fool at the teller.<br> <br> Strange indeed as my withdrawal limit is set at R 4000 and I have even more as that available in the account. Furthermore, it's my first time this month that I (tried to) use this card, so no way could the limit be exceeded.<br> <br> Of course the 'normal procedure' is that I have to go to a branch to get it sorted. Why, Absa, do I always have to waste my time by going to a branch to have problems sorted which you cause in the first place ? Give me a reason why I should not just close all my accounts and go to another bank !
