Absa is Unlaw and Despicable
I am disappointed that, yet again, Absa finds itself in my bad books again.
Three years prior, I wouldn't be allowed to access monies in my now defunct savings scheme . . . .
Now they can't appear to keep track of ******** or dishonest payments.
My guardian, Magda Nell, had in the last days of the 2010's received a new credit card [having not requisitioned a new one I may add.]
Upon necessary inquiry, we were assured it was a new mandated card and the item was even accessed in-branch.
Roughly two months later, a sudden payment of approx. R9775.92 went off of her bank balance by BEST BUY (an American brand electronics company with no local trade partner)
What makes this even more suspicious . . . .
The transaction was made using her previously defunct card (ref - Mastercard****8017)
The reference for this transaction - BESTBUYCOM***
Since that time, she has voraciously called upon Absa:
17 February 2020 - 07:30 4 March 2020 - 07:25 16 March 2020 - 07:20 [spoken to Maringa who claimed the case had been escalated]
It is to note on the previous calls, the consultants assured the case was "escalated" as well, however it was only on the third call that we received the correspondence.
Reference of notice of ***** received - ASZA-2***9
However what is the infuriating caveat is that this case will only be resolved by 21 days.
This will not stand . . . . .
This is a direct violation of her consumer rights and she has been mislead.
If this matter isn't resolved quickly, Absa will be brought to book about this!!!!!
It is imperative that we get those monies BAC****!!
