ABSA is this really putting the client first
I have a credit card with absa. I was under debt review for year and since im married that also uncludes my husband. I have been going through financial difficulties as i am seperated from my husband and now single handedly taking care of our debts and 2 kids. I have been removed from debt review as i can no longer manage the monthly instalment alone. I receved threatening calls, emails and smses from Norton attorneys appointed by ABSA wanting to arrange. Their payment arrangement are just unreasonable and the threats are not realistic. How do you expect a person who can not afford to pag the required amount to settle 56000 in 6 months. It seems like when a person goes through difficult times the track record of the tears they have been good paying clients does not count. The only amount I can afford at the moment is R500 per month until my financial status has improved. Threatening me with summons or other things will not hell because there is nothing to sell. How do you expect clients to put their trust in you again once their status had improved if you are not willing to understand them. I am not saying i dont want to pag but for now R500 is all I have
