ABSA is THE worst bank in South Africa

ABSA sent out an SMS a couple of days ago saying that they now have internet banking Pre-Paid Electricity available. So I used this service two days ago, and purchased R200 worth of electricity. I immediately received an SMS from ABSA saying that the transaction was successful and then I saw a part of the SMS that said Tokens: But after the : there was just nothing, it was blank, no pin code or electricity prepaid number for me to put in my box. So I phone ABSA, explaining to the consultant that we got broken into 3 weeks ago, and 4 men tied me and my husband up, and how afraid I am of the dark, so I can't be left in the dark in my home (without electricity). The first consultant just told me I must phone Stellenbosch Municipality because they can't find my meter number. I couldn't believe that that was her only response. Then I phoned ABSA a second time explaining everything and this consultant said she'll phone me back in 5 minutes. She phoned me back in 40minutes. 40 minutes is pretty long, since it was 7.30pm already and getting dark outside. So I needed to know should I get in my car now and drive all the way to CBD Stellenbosch or not to go buy an electricity voucher at a grocery store. The consultant just told me "we can't find your meter number you need to phone Stellenbosch Municipality". My husband bought electricity that night, after working till 10.30pm. I phoned Stellenbosch Municipality today, then that guy said he would phone me back. He phoned me back in an hour's time, saying that they can't find our meter number and that I must phone Eskom. Then I phoned Eskom and they said we don't use Eskom's electricity in that area. I thought all of us in South Africa used Eskom's electricity???? Then the Eskom staff member said I must phone the Stellenbosch Municipality again. So then I phoned ABSA again to say they must please just reimburse me the R200, we already bought electricity at a grocery store. Then they said they can't pay the R200 back and that I must visit an actual ABSA branch. I will NOT take time off work to stand in a long line or go to an ABSA on a Saturday morning over my weekend, just because I used a service that ABSA was bragging about a week ago for us customers to use. And on that note, ABSA was the only delayed banking company that only implemented prepaid electricity now only. All the other banks had that service years ago. This is very frustrating! Happy FNB customers have been telling me for years that I must change to FNB rather, especially because ABSA takes advantage of their customers when it come to service fees for example. Sometimes I pay R20 per transaction. This is rediculous!!! I'm done with ABSA. Please pay back my R200, that I got nothing for.
