Absa is the worst bank

In October last year I made the worst decision ever and opened a Cheque account with Absa bank. Without my consent a debit order of R1000 was deducted from my account in November, R1640 in December and a further R1500 on 26th January this year. When I went into the N1 city branch I was informed that it had been the Loans department that helped themselves to my money without any contact or consent. I was hen asked to return to the bank on Monday as hat department was not working. I am disgusted that when making follow up calls, a Supervisor is yet to contact me regarding this matter. Since when is it lawful to just dip into someone's account and choose what amount to deduct based on no communication with your customer. Does Absa take my affordability into account, absolutely not. When asked why his happened I was informed that they were unable to contact me therefore took such drastic measures. I no longer wish to support a bank which *****s from their customer. I am lodging a formal complaint with the Ombudsman for this gross misconduct by Absa bank. There is zero ethics in your business processes!
