ABSA is obviously not interested in new business
I am not an ABSA client. I wanted to know about their fixed term deposits. Impossible to access any ABSA website (HTTP 403 Forbidden). So I phone and 10 minutes later after jumping through endless hoops and selecting endless options I got to speak to a human. No, I can't send you that information, I can only give it to you over the phone. It would have probably taken me an hour to write down all the periods, rates, min deposits, let alone doing the same thing all over over again for a senior. And if I did all that, and decided which product I wanted, no indication of how to do that, as their web site does not allow a potential client to find out anything.

13 Aug 2020, 10:54A week has gone past, I have received emails from ABSA, but no one at ABSA can provide me with the simple information I require, which information is readily available without any problem at other banks. What is wrong with ABSA staff?
