ABSA is not willing to assist me
I bought a car on 31st of May 2018 at a car dealership where ABSA had financed me for the purchase. I took the car in to get some small repairs done on the 20th of June 2018 at the original dealership and was advised that the car had been in an accident I need to return it to where I had purchased it from. I immediately called ABSA to tell them that I will be cancelling the contract because I was not made aware of this. The consultant I spoke to said I need to return the car to the dealership where I purchased from and then call Marina ( ********** 288 or ********** 053) who will then cancel the contract. I am at the dealership and I have called Marina and she has advised that she needs an instruction from the dealer to cancel the contract but the dealer is telling me that they need an instruction from ABSA. I dont know who is taking me for a fool here but I need this resolved ASAP. My next steps will be the banking ombudsman if I keep hgetting pushed from pillar to post.
