ABSA IS NO LONGER ABSA

Absa has disregarded me and has shown no satisfaction in their communication and relationship with its clients. I have known no other bank except Absa for my entire banking life - and I regret that now. I have all policies and banking business with Absa and find myself trying to figure out how to change banks and transfer all policies, loans, credit and debit to a other bank that offers a better client relationship. I have laid numerous complaints, called various times and requested numerous call backs and to date I have been totally ignored. Like a country it seems that Absa is falling into the disarray, demonstrating what I can only see as a down fall. This very morning I had an amount debited from my account, I have no idea what it is for, only that it is Absa insurance - I can be assured that this is going to take forever to sort out - just like I am struggling to sort out simple issues. I honestly DO NOT RECOMMEND Absa as a bank of brilliance and will advise people to bank with another bank. It is so unfortunate that this has how Absa has become - being a bank I thought very highly off, I am sure that even Capitec or African Bank would’ve sorted out these type if issues in a jiffy. Its almost 2 weeks, and not only has my problems continued, I have found another issue.
